A sincere thank you goes out to our community this past weekend! My family and I wanted to send our gratitude and admiration in our time of sadness. Our oldest puppy Bruce was struck and killed this past Saturday afternoon in Fennels Corners. We especially wanted to thank the many people who stopped to offer assistance to us by comforting him before we could get to him. From the people who called nearby veterinary hospitals, to the gentleman who offered to take him directly to the vet, and to those who simply stopped offering help. It was incredible to see and feel the outpouring of support from our community. The South Simcoe Police were onsite to help direct traffic and offer their support. Constable Ferrari in particular went way above the call of duty that day to do as much as he could; it was his support that gave Bruce every chance he had. Sadly we lost him on the way to the vet and we are heartbroken that he’s not with us this Christmas but we take comfort in knowing that there are good people in our community! Our most heartfelt thank you goes out from us and we simply can’t say enough about the people who stopped to help that fateful day. Even more so at this special time of the year, thank you and Merry Christmas from the Stovold family!
