Toronto duo Madison Violet is coming to their show next Thursday August 5th at the Algonquin Theatre in Huntsville with a new honour to add to the shelf! It was announced earlier this week that the alt.country due is the first Canadian band to win in the international John Lennon Songwriting Contest.

While Crystal Bowersox was the early favorite, Lee DeWyze has really come out of his shell to gain the support and votes of fans. But the whole finale was like a blast from the past.
