The Barrie Folk Society invites all young songwriters (<21 as of September 1, 2010) to submit an original song to its Fourth Youth Songwriting Contest.

Previous contests have displayed the talents of the secondary school aged writers and musicians of Simcoe County but, this year, the Folk Society is extending geographical and temporal boundaries to give more young writers the opportunity to strut their stuff.
