We were once captured by the role playing games presented by play station games from Breath of Fire to the famed Final Fantasy. Who resist taking the role and living in a world where mystiques evolve and adventure runs non-stop. At present these MMORPGS are more in demand as they present, not only gaming pleasures but also the possibility of connecting with people from even across the globe.
A Private server for such online games seems to present, either newer versions of well loved games or new ones that the world is sure to enjoy. Checking these out is like a shopping frenzy on what to look out for and what would fit the gamers playing palette.
For the gamers and those who are just merely curious as to what's hot and not on the online gaming circuit, here's a recap on what pips on the net have been saying on some of MMORPGs at present.
I. World of WarcraftWorld of Warcraft is presently considered as the best MMORPG. It used to belong to EverQuest but after the upgrading to the said online game WoW has definitely gained more popularity.
There are more excellent views to this game than meets the eye. Gamers can really get involve on many activities. Crafting is but one of the many highlights of this game. It has allowed people to make their own clothes and other stuff that really sort of gives fashion sense (let's them play dress up) to their characters. Another plus factor to this activity is the fact that a person may also sell this for money. Either they sell this individually or as bulk. Entering the Auction can boost up this privilege for bulk buying not to mention earn higher. Other than this, players also can go for trading and character building.
People at World of Warcraft also get the privilege of earning something even during rest time. A sure advantage of the game is that it easily gains boosts for level up (yep definitely easy for leveling up). You can easily turn away from your enemies or avoid some old ones as well.
Since the game is fast paced and leveling is quick, this part also constitute to a lot of possible complaints. What’s supposed to be matter of weeks can be taken within months. The challenge is gone going for the fight seems like an easy task. It has high server problems due to its popularity among gamers plus (a sad sad sad note) it doesn't have the best community. But let's admit these are just the "not so good" traits. It is presently still the best so far.
II. Final Fantasy XIAlthough it ranked as number in today's list of best MMORPG it is undeniable, especially for the World of War Craft fans, that Final Fantasy XI has the cutting edge for absolute role gaming fun.
We have considered that Final Fantasy as a legend amongst RPG. For crying out loud it even has a movie plus a cartoon series (just like how RAGNAROK was, although I think this one doesn't have a movie). But for all the fans of the FF this eleventh series (twelfth if we count in FF X-2. har har), is for the gamers who likes the feel of good action with friends. This is definitely played with pals as you form groups and bond--yup bond. To have closer ties, the game also offers gatherings were players can get to know each other.
Graphics have always been the best with regards to the FF series. There's this eye candy pleasantry with regards to the graphics and the stuff we oh so love. However the graphics and the bonding comes second compared to the story,
The best part of final fantasy has always been the story. This is what has always made the FF series a huge hit. Fight scenes may at time be a total bore, not because of the action (the action is excellent) but of the long wait to level up. Let's face it this is the game's downside. This is another reason why playing solo is not for the FF fans.
This game is the best MMOPRG if you consider playing in groups and for that it had ranked second on today's list.
III. City of HeroesWho doesn't even dream of becoming a super hero? We have fantasized as kids flying and chasing bad guys out of the city. Special powers, a team (like your very own X-men or Justice League) and that mysterious secret identity you can't tell anyone about. The present world now gives us the benefit of experiencing all this (comic lifestyle sort of way and so on) with City of Heroes.
City of Heroes allows you to be your very own super hero character complete with the powers you've always wished you'd had. Once you enter the game it gives tutorials for basic knowledge and to get used to the primary and secondary powers that the hero acquires. After this sequence the hero can now start at a city where he is given the privilege t either change classes or not.
Classes are very balanced but there are still who are standouts like scrappers and tankers. With the tanker there is a chance to allow the gamer to just play solo. Yup! Solo gives the gamer a chance to know more the game in his own accord, however for those who loves teams, getting into groups is also allowable.
Negative look on this hero’s game is the lack of depth due to repetitiveness. There is even less grind compared to other MMORPG plus there is no PvP element yet. This is one of the top features wanted by most MMO gamers. Due to this missing property, City of Villains, a sequel to city of Heroes, is advice to take into consideration this missing ingredient to have a much better gaming experience.
This game is definitely for those who are tired of the usual quests for magic that most MMORPG offer. Definitely a plus to watch out and enjoy for comic book lovers, that even a hefty $14.95 dollars per month subscription, City of Heroes is another great game that ranked three on today's present hottest games online.
