Pitch-in day is going ahead

The Town of Innisfil Pitch-In Day is a go and will take place on Saturday, May 1.
Everyone must sign-in at their local fire hall at 9 a.m. before getting started. Fire hall locations are: 2394 Victoria St. West in Stroud; 780 Innisfil Beach Rd. in Alcona; 885 Ardill St. in Lefroy; 23 King St. North in Cookstown. Gloves, garbage bags and safety tips will be supplied.
Schools can be contacted to see if they can participate during the week of April 26th to April 30th.
All high school students participating in this program must bring their own community involvement activity forms to be signed by a volunteer firefighter, Mayor Brian Jackson or Deputy Mayor Gord Wauchope upon completion in order to receive acknowledgment.
Volunteers must pay attention to safety regulations and contact an official immediately if an injury occurs.
