Factory Direct items taken

Nonchalance helped a man steal goods from a Barrie store Thursday.

Just after 12:30 p.m., a man walked into Factory Direct at 400 Bayfield St. and removed two sets of earphones, a digital alarm clock and an auxiliary cable from store shelves, said city police.

He placed these items in his backpack and nonchalantly left the store – not catching the attention of store employees.

Police describe him as white, age 40 and unshaven with light stubble.
