Innisfil’s Nantyr Shores Tritons and Barrie’s Bear Creek Kodiaks will battle for the Simcoe County Athletic Association’s senior boys ‘AAA’ football title Thursday.

The championship game is set for 2 p.m. at J.C. Massie Field at Georgian College’s Barrie campus.

The Kodiaks advanced to the title game with a 19-7 win over the Eastview Wildcats last week, while the Nantyr Shores blanked the Barrie North Vikings, 20-0, to punch their ticket to the big game.

The winner of the SCAA game will face the Catholic-board champion.

The undefeated Tritons come into the SCAA title game with a 6-0 record, with 224 points scored while only allowing 35 against.

On the other side of the ball, the Kodiaks are riding a four-game winning streak with a 4-1-1 record this season, including 135 points scored while allowing 94 against.
