Sudbury man arrested for impaired

BRADFORD – A Sudbury man faces dangerous and impaired driving charges after a pickup truck did donuts in a restaurant parking lot Thursday night.

South Simcoe police were called by concerned citizens at 8 p.m. about the erratic driving.

Officers found the truck parked up and over the curb. As police spoke to witnesses, the driver returned.

A 25-year-old man was arrested and taken to the police station for tests.

He was charged with dangerous driving, impaired driving and driving with more than the legal limit of alcohol in his system.

His driver's licence was suspended for 90 days and his truck was impounded.
